Care Comes In Many Ways! Because life happens...and often without warning...we have more than one way to provide encouragement, support, prayer, friendship and a reminder that God will see you through the troubled times. Being a follower of Christ means growing through painful circumstances as well as caring for others in pain. At Northpointe the Body of Christ responds to meet each others' needs. Life-on Life small groups are the first and best way. Genuine, trusting, Christ-centered relationships are an excellent medicine to our many ills. BUT...when a special Life need arises, then specific Life care is required. Part of being a follower of Christ means growing through painful experiences as well as caring for others who are facing difficulties. At Northpointe Community Church, we seek to use God's love to practically meet the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of individuals within our church body and others who are close at hand. We do this through a variety of ways: |

Cards, phone calls and visits, mixed with prayer support serve to lift up those who are experiencing illness, recuperation or recent loss. A fit word spoken lightens up the heart. Our Hope and a Prayer team will be there to bring encouragement and a friendly face to those who are new parents, sick or just sick and tired. See our Hope & A Prayer webpage for current opportunities to assist this team.

Loaves and Fishes is our short-term meal ministry for those in our church who are experiencing illness, a new baby, or other situations where a hot meal would be just the thing.

When facing difficult circumstances, broken relationships, present sins and the residual weight of past experiences that steal the abundant life God intends for His children, where does one turn? Our trained lay counselors serve the Northpointe people by helping Christ followers find victory over the daily obstacles of life. To find out more about our counseling ministry or to schedule an appointment with a counselor contact Sue Sehlke at the church, (517)669-5133 ext 102.

Everyone loves a new baby. So, if there's a new addition on the way to a church family through birth or adoption, then we'd like to help "Welcome" them to the family. Prayers, encouragement and congratulation "upon arrival" are the goals of this team.
