Men’s Equip Group: The Great Adventure explores a man and his world beyond the everyday. The 20-session study puts the roof on the house of masculinity and creates a vision for a man's future and destiny. This study will help men rediscover the adventure in life through a greater understanding of who they are. Men will uncover the uniqueness they have as men and discover a satisfying life focus. It will challenge men to consider several important questions they are continually asking themselves: "Who am I?", "What are my life dreams?", "Do I have courage to pursue those dreams?" Never has another manhood curriculum challenged men to live life to the fullest like The Great Adventure. It will take you on a journey that leads to significant personal discoveries about who you are and where you’re going in life. Thursdays starting Oct. 2nd at 6:30 a.m. at Northpointe. Sign up at the Events Desk. Materials cost: $10.

Awaken: “Awake O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.” Ephesians 5:14. For the post-abortive woman, the word “abortion” can cause a wide variety of emotions…shame, regret, sadness, fear. Paralyzing fear. Especially in church. For most post-abortive women, their secret has never been shared, and most certainly has not been shared in church, where the fear of rejection and condemnation rules the heart and mind. Awaken, a ministry led by post-abortive women for post-abortive women, is designed to lead women who are struggling from an abortion in their past. Through prayer and an 8-week bible study specific to the needs of post-abortive women, it is our desire that healing, forgiveness and freedom from the burdens of abortion occur in the hearts of post-abortive women and that the end result be that they Awaken to the life that God has planned for them. Our next session begins in October, and it is our prayer that if you are a post-abortive woman, or you know someone who is, you will contact us to talk about doing this study. All contact is confidential. Leaders: Aimee: 989-640-4988, Kelly: 517-643-2838.
