EQUIP GROUPS EXIST TO HELP equip and train people in a specific area of the Christian life.
This SPRING we are offering 3 Equip Groups:
THE CORE:
Spiritual Development Series (Spring Training Track: Apologetics: Knowing WHY You Believe)
Join Pastor Tony and Curt Petrak on a spiritual journey that will help give you the tools to grow deeper spiritual roots. You can take the individual training tracks that interest you over the next 18 months. The third track, “Apologetics: Knowing WHY You Believe”, discusses questions such as, "Is Jesus really the only way to heaven?", "If God’s in control, why is there so much evil in the world?", and "Did God really create the world? Wed. 6:30PM beginning April 11 (7 wks) Leader: Tice and Petrak, Materials: $10 with notebook/$5 inserts only, Room105
CORE REPLAY:
A replay of the Wednesday night session by video and discussion, led by Curt Petrak. Sun. 10:45AM beginning April 15 (7 wks) Materials: $10 with notebook/$5 inserts only, Room 105
PRAYER: the Power to Possess What You Already Own (Women):
Is there such a thing as unanswered prayer? In one of his teachings Jesus shares a story about the faith of a widow who pesters an unjust judge until he gives her what she requests. In this course we learn how continual knocking and seeking are required - not because God can be pestered into answering but because we have an enemy working to intercept our inheritance before we get it. God has already provided everything in Christ; we must not settle for less. Thurs. 9:15AM beginning April 12 (4 wks). Materials: $10, Room 102 (A Visionwriters course).
