Our Mission Statement

Our children's ministry (birth - 5th grade) exists to support families in their efforts to lay a spiritual foundation that, in God's timing, will lead each child to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is our desire to partner with families as they teach, train, and model Jesus Christ to their children.

At NCC, we value...

The Bible as the foundation to our ministry. All truth comes from God's Word and is the beginning of wisdom in a child's life. The Family as the primary spiritual influence in a child's life. It is not our responsibility to replace the family, but to honor and support it. Fun as we are deliberately child-targeted. This means that our staff strives to understand a child's perspective and make their teaching relevant to the world of a child. We strive to build an "edu-taining" environment. It's fun with a purpose! Large group community and small group relationships. We love the creative experience when we all gather together to hear God's Word. We also value to the impact that comes from being able to talk about that experience with a close network of support. Safety for every child we minister to. We make every effort to ensure that your child is not only physically safe, but also emotionally and spiritually. Teaching the Bible in creative ways with application. We desire to make the message of Christ relevant to the life of a child. Children should never have to ask, "So what?" More than just telling Bible stories, we believe that every story in the Bible is there to help kids live daily for God. Prayer as the cornerstone to all Kingdom building. We pray continually for our staff and your children as we serve together to reach more people with the good news of Jesus Christ.
